abhi maslihat ka maqam hay,

abhi faaslon ka qayaam hay

abhi dastaras me hay zindagi

abhi chashm e nam me hay roshni

abhi naqsh e pa ko sabaat hay

abhi kuch hee dair ki baat hay

ABHI WAQT HAI MJHY CHOR JA

abhi gard rah se uri nhi

abhi kirchiyon me bati nhi

abhiher nazara haseen hay

abhi subhe no ka yaqeen hay

abhi hum kinaron pe hain kharay

abhi waqt hay mujhe chor ja

ye safar nhi azaab hay

yahan her qadam pe saraab hay

yahan badgumani ka raj hay

yahan bewafai riwaj hay

abhi hosh khoney ke din nhi

abhi terey roney ke din nhi

abhi waqt hay mujhe chor ja

abhi sari nagri andher hay

abhi din nikalney me dair hay

abhi behr e ishq me na utar

abhi shehar sara hay be khabar

Tm ne liya tha kanptay hountoon se mera nam

Main ne kaha tha aoo yunhi bheegty chalain

In rastoon main dair tak ghoomtay rahin

Meri kamar main yah hath phoolon sa daal kr

kandhe pe mery yunhi rakhy raho apna sar

Hathoun ko main kabhi! Kabhi baloun ko chum loun

Daikho meri traf tu ankhoon ko chum loun

Pani k yah jo phol hain ruksaar pe khilay hoy

In main Dhanak k rang hain sary ghulay hoy

Hontoon se in ko chuntay rahen khush dilly k sath

Yunhi kisi darakht k neechay kharay rahen

Barish k dair baad Bhi liptay kharay rahen

Nasha sa charooun oorh phelta geya

Pher us k baad main ne tumain kuch nahi kaha!

sochte nahīñ itnā jitnā sar khujāte haiñ

har taraf kanakhiyoñ se bach bachā ke takte haiñ

dūsroñ ke parchoñ ko rahnumā samajhte haiñ

shāyad is tarah koī rāsta hī mil jaa.e

be-nishāñ javāboñ kā kuchh pata hī mil jaa.e

mujh ko dekhte haiñ to

yuuñ javāb copy par hāshiye lagāte haiñ

dā.ere banāte haiñ

jaise un ko parche ke sab javāb aate haiñ

is tarah ke manzar maiñ

imtihān-gāhoñ meñ dekhtā hī rahtā thā

naql karne vāloñ ke

nit-na.e tarīqoñ se

aap lutf letā thā dostoñ se kahtā thā

kis taraf se jaane ye

aaj dil ke āñgan meñ ik ḳhayāl aayā hai

saikḌoñ savāloñ sā ik savāl laayā hai

vaqt kī adālat meñ

zindagī kī sūrat meñ

ye jo tere hāthoñ meñ ik savāl-nāma hai

kis ne ye banāyā hai

kis liye banāyā hai

kuchh samajh meñ aayā hai

zindagī ke parche ke

sab savāl lāzim haiñ sab savāl mushkil haiñ

be-nigāh āñkhoñ se dekhtā huuñ parche ko

be-ḳhayāl hāthoñ se

an-bane se lafzoñ par uñgliyāñ ghumātā huuñ
